Composition and structure

ETFE is a copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene, a tough fluoropolymer resin2. This molecular structure gives the coating a series of excellent properties.

Product model and characteristics

EC-65102: White powder, good electrostatic spraying effect, film thickness of 0.1-0.3 mm, very suitable for ultra-thin product applications. After film formation, it has excellent chemical stability, no leaks, good environmental resistance, a wide operating temperature range (-200℃ to 180℃), easy processing, V-0 flame retardant fire resistance, high energy radiation resistance and excellent electrical properties.
EC-6515: Green powder, the coating has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, suitable for linings in the chemical and semiconductor industries.
EC-6519: Black powder, also has good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, can be used in linings in the chemical and semiconductor industries and other fields.
EC - 6520: Transparent powder coating with good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, suitable for lining in chemical, semiconductor and other industries, providing good protection and transparency.

Performance characteristics

Good molding processability: can be easily processed by all standard thermoplastic processing methods, such as injection molding, compression molding, blow molding, rotational molding, extrusion and wire coating.
Excellent chemical stability: has good resistance to most chemicals, from strong acids to strong alkalis, almost all chemicals are difficult to affect its performance.
Good heat resistance: can maintain stable performance in the temperature range of - 200 ℃ to 180 ℃, can be used continuously at 180 ℃, and can withstand higher temperatures for a short time.
Excellent electrical properties: has high insulation, very thin film products also have high breakdown voltage, low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent in a wide frequency range.
Good mechanical properties: It is a tough material with a good balance of mechanical properties, extremely strong tear resistance, high tensile strength, medium hardness, strong impact resistance, and long telescopic life.
Other characteristics: It is non-flammable, UL-94V-0 flame retardant, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, suitable for almost any purpose, good weather resistance for more than 10 years, suitable for contact with ultraviolet rays, anti-UV and weather resistance, and good surface properties such as constant low friction, high wear resistance, anti-adhesion and water/oil repellency, providing excellent flow resistance.

Application areas

Chemical processing industry: It is used for lining various special-shaped pipes such as pump casings, ships, tubes, elbows, tees, etc., and can form a uniform thickness even in corrugated pipes. It can also be used for seamless linings of large containers, etc. It is suitable for the inside of the housing of pumps or valves, even in situations where pressure changes.
Construction industry: It can be used in the production of building materials for roofs and exterior walls, and can provide good non-conductive and waterproof properties.
