Application
Titanium hydride powder can be used as a thermal spray coating
material or various ceramics, as a synthetic material for alloys
and intermetallic compounds, as a bonding material (glass metal,
ceramic metal, etc.), as a hydrogen source for foamed metals, or as
a deoxidizer and decarbonizer in powder metallurgy. TiH2 is a
high-quality raw material used for sintering components in
aerospace, automotive, marine, machinery, cutting tools, sports
goods, jewelry, and medical equipment. Titanium hydride is the raw
material for hydrogenated titanium powder, powder metallurgy,
titanium carbide, and titanium nitride, as well as materials for
reducing and retaining hydrides.
