GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

RSBJ Heat shrink cable jointing kits for telecom cables are fiber reinforced heat shrink closures designed for the protection of cable joints for the non-pressurized telecom cables network. The heat shrink cable joint mainly consists of a heat shrink, reinforced and wraparound sleeve and a wrap-around metal canister/cardboard liner. The heat shrink sleeve is made of a fiber reinforced high strength composite material with integrated layer of aluminum serving as a moisture barrier. The heat shrink sleeve is internally coated with a flexible heat adhesive which will melt and adhere to the cable to form an air and water tight seal. The wrap-around metal canister/cardboard liner protects the cable joints from moisture vapor transmission. The white line inside of the trajectory and the temperature-sensitive paint on the heat shrink sleeve can lead a good and right operation. The heat shrink cable jointing kits can be used on polyethylene, lead, steel and aluminum jacketed cables for straight cable joints and branch cable joints up to three telecom cables out on each side.

1. RSBJ heat shrink cable jointing kits are suitable for non-pressurized and up to 40kPa pressurized telecom cables with metal or polyethylene sheaths including jelly filled cables.
2. RSBJ heat shrink cable jointing kits are suitable for aerial, buried and ducted application.
3. RSBJ heat shrink cable jointing kits are applicable both for straight as well as branch joints up to 3 cables out at each side.
