TRJBQ mud agitator is a part of solid control system of mud tank, which is mainly used in agitating and blending drilling fluid so as to control the depositions of solid particles in its tank cycling system and keep the mud property of circulation stable and mixture uniform.

This device has some major features as following:

1. The reducer adopts a cylindrical worm with an axial section of circular acre. The circular acre teeth of impeller wheel are conjugated with the worm, which provide good convexo-concave engagement, high efficiency transmission, strong agitating ability and compact structure.

2. The reducer combines with anti-explosion motor, which is suit for rough operation condition in field, and can be repaired conveniently.

3. New up-down structural agitating impeller wheels have a two-layer structure, which can be used as one-layer and dual-layer one.

4. The strong agitation, broad conformance and low starting moment of resistance are provided.

5. Level – placed motor is easy for installation, adjustment and replacement.

Ⅲ. Structure and Operation Principle

This device consists of explosion–proof motor, reducer, seating and components of impeller wheels. Rigid shaft adapters are used in connections of reducer to motor, and reducer to impeller wheel.

The impeller wheel agitates the fluid and makes it revolving to enforce the stirring effect. The dual-layer structure impeller wheels can be dismounted. Six blades is welded to a plate in angle of 45ºwhich can stirring mud sufficiently. The plate mounts to the impeller shaft by flange with bolts. The upper layer can be dismounted if necessary. The plate jammed in blades also can prevent solids particles in mud from depositing around the lower blades and reduce the friction force moment at starting caused by deposits and protect the motor from fire out in the start.

Ⅳ. Main components

1.Reducer

The reducer for our mud agitator is WPDX or WPX series (or can customize to customer request).

WPDX cast iron worm gearbox features:

1) Smooth transmission, vibration, impact and noise are small; reduction ratio is big; can in conjunction with all kinds of mechanical equipments while in use.

2) Capable of single-stage drive large transmission ratio, compact reducer, most models have a better self-locking and save the brakes of braking requirements for machinery

3) The surface of screw worm gear and worm gear teeth friction loss is bigger, so the transmission efficiency is lower than gear, easy to fever and have a high temperature.

4) Higher requirements for lubrication and cooling.

5) Plausibility of worm gear and worm are at the national standards manufacturing, bearings, oil seal, etc all use standard parts.

6) Box type have a basic type(the bottom of the box with the pedal vertical or horizontal two structure)and the universal model(cuboid shape mostly, multi-faced with fixed screws, contains or no baseboard and other structure type.

☆Input power & output torque

The formula of transforming input power to output torque listed as follows:

Input power P (kw) =output torquet (n.m) X output Revolving speed n2 (r/min)/(9549×efficiencyη)

Input power denotes the dynamical capacity of a reducer,and output torquet the maximum load a reducer allows,which are both listed in power and torque tables in order to serving selection.

☆Revolving speed of input shaft and output shaft

The formula of transforming input revolving speed to output listed as follows:

Out revolving speed N2 (r/min) =inputRevolving speed N1 (r/min)/ratio I.

With belt-pulley,coupling or sprocket wheel shaft transmisson,the input speed should not exceed 2000(r/min);the general range is 600-1800RPM.if the revolving speed is too high,the bearing will have less life due to ver-friction.

2. Motor

The motor for our mud agitator is B5 series explosion-proof motors (or chose B2 series according to the customer demand).

The electric performance of YB2 flameproof three-phase asynchronous is as same as B5 serious. Apart from high efficiency, low temperature, small vibration and many other advantages, it also it also has the advanced structure, safe and reliable use of other notable features.

Work temperature: the highest temperature is 40 ℃ for factory use; coal mine is no more than 35 ℃.

Altitude does not exceed 1000m.

Voltage: 380 V

Frequency: 50 HZ (60 HZ)

Ⅳ. Installation, application and maintenance

2. Lift the agitator horizontally and stably, put it in the desired position. After coaxial degree adjusted <0.39, weld four M16 seats to tank and screw up tightly the fix bolts.

3. Spring Washers must be added to the bolts of the rigid shaft adapter and be tightened unless the impeller shaft will deflect, resulting in severe reducer wear.

4. Abnormal sound, sticking and over temperature should not happen unless shut – down trouble – shooting must be given.

5. The oil level of the reducers should be kept in the middle position of oil window and often feed during operation. 120# gear oil is recommended for the reducer. When no supply in field, other lubricants with appropriate viscosity can be applied.
