With Online Banking
The easiest way to change your address and contact details
(including your telephone number and email address) is to log on to
If you have a joint account, you can only change your own address
and contact details in Online Banking. If both addresses/contact
details need to be changed, both account holders should log on to
their own Online Banking to change their own details.
Log on and update your details instantly from within the 'My
Details & Settings' tab:
- choose 'Change personal details' from the left hand menu, then
choose which details you would like to change
- enter your new details and follow the on-screen instructions.
Please note: You'll need to enter your security details and One Time Passcode
(OTP) to make this change, so make sure you have your mobile phone

In a branch
You can simply change your address or contact details by visiting
your local branch with your debit or credit card, or with your
passbook and a signature-bearing identification. See the full list

If you would like to, you can also fill out a change of details
form at home and bring it into any branch. You can access the form

- requesting a copy of the form by calling us on 0800 9 123 123
- collecting a form from your local branch

Important information for customers with alerts: If you have account alerts set up on your account and you want
these to be sent to your updated telephone number and/or email
address, then you'll need to amend your alerts using the 'Account
Services' tab in Online Banking as they're not automatically updated when you change your details.
