| Diatomite series products are
carefully made from sediment of single -cell alga water plant, for
the category of diatom its complexity and porosity, the diatomite
products has the un-competitive filtrating capability and absorbent
capability than any other filtrating medium, it is widely used for
filtrate-supporting dose, stuffing and carrier. This series of
products has a light specific gravity, strong adsorption, its
grains are reasonably distributed, it has a big areas, high hole
ratio, high flow, good clarifying degree, lower-containing of heavy
metal, stable chemical characters and good adaptability. Except
alkali, hydrofluoric acid liquor, it can used reliably for liquid
filtrating medium of all industry and catering treatment, medicine,
and to be used as stuffing, carrier in the industries of
chemical-industry, feed, building material. The diatomite based
products can be divided into the following three categories by
production process: I. Dried product: after the raw diatomite is
dried under 100°C to 300°C, and then purified by high pressure gas
flow pulverization, the product can be made by classification, it
appear grey white-light yellow. II. Roasted product: The product is
made through roasting the cleaned diatomite under high temperature
of 700°C-900°C, high pressure gas flow pulverization and
classification, it appears orange and brown. III. Melting aided
roasted product: The cleaned diatomite is mixed with proper amount
of melting additive, and roasted under 900°C-1200°C, pulverization
and classification, the product appears white. As filter aid
material for food processing,widely use in cider, corn syrup, fruit
juices, sugar, pectin, citric acid, wine, vegetable juices, beer,
lard, molasses, soft drinks, casein, vegetable oils, edible oil;
for pharmaceutica in processes of enzymes, epsom salt, penicillin,
streptomycin,water treatment; sizing, oil recovery, pool water
treatment, greases, solvent recovery, disposal wells; for chemicals
as oganic chemicals, acid, polymers, polyethylene, brine,
adhesives, titanium dioxide, fertilizers. waste disposal; waxes,
oils, varnish, gums, shellac, paint, etc. Natural Additives &
