Silicone Coated Fabrics are made from woven fiberglass substrates that have been coated on one or both sides with silicone rubber.It has characteristics quite similar to those of PTFE-coated fabrics: good temperature resistance, good chemical and electric resistance. But they are more flexible and very non-stick.On the other hand, silicone has a non-slip surface, unlike PTFE.These fabrics are available in redwhitegrey colours and with multiple plies. These fabrics are widely used for manufacturing of removable,reusable insulation pads,jackets,Matresses for Valves,Turbines,Equipment requiring frequent inspection and maintenance in high temperature and HVAC Chilled water application.
